Sofia Vargas manages a condo in Mexico City's Polanco district. Two towers share a laneway. Delivery trucks started using it as a shortcut, ignoring the signs. Fixed bollards would block emergency vehicles too. So she needed something that goes up and down.

She found us online. We sent her one sample – our shallow-mount automatic bollard. 219mm diameter, rises 600mm, buries only 800mm deep. That mattered because the laneway has old drainage pipes underneath. Couldn't dig deeper than 800mm.

The bollard has a 6mm wall, 380mm flange, IP68 waterproof (eighth gen – basically means it can sit in a flooded pit). Runs on 220V, 370W motor. Remote control. Also has reflective strips and a built-in LED strip on top – visible at night.

Sofia tested it for two months. Dozens of cycles daily. Rain, sun, dust. She said the remote never failed. The LED strip stayed bright.

She ordered 84 units last month. They arrived last week. Each comes with a manual override key – in case power cuts. A local contractor handled the concrete and wiring.

Sofia told us she's already mentioned KSHD to another condo board nearby. No big press release. Just a product that worked for her tight site conditions.

We keep a few of these shallow-mount 219 bollards in stock for testing. Contact us to get the plan that suits you best
