A state park north of Sacramento replaced 65 wooden picnic tables last month after years of dealing with splinters, rot, and annual sealing. The park superintendent, Mark Ellison, chose KSHD's WPC (wood‑plastic composite) tables – a material he hadn't used before.

"I was skeptical," Mark said. "Wood looks nice, but every spring we were sanding and staining. The budget couldn't take it anymore."

He ordered two sample tables from KSHD in late winter. Left them out through rain and direct sun for four months. "No cracks. No warping. The color stayed the same."

The tables feature a galvanized steel frame (hot‑dip coated) and WPC slats made from recycled HDPE and oak fiber. Seats and tabletop are splinter‑free, rot‑proof, and never need painting. Overall size: 1.5m long, seats on both sides, ADA‑compatible end option.

Mark signed for 65 units last week. Surface‑mount on concrete pads. No special tools required.

"If these last five years with zero maintenance, they've paid for themselves," he said.

KSHD keeps 20 WPC picnic tables in stock for sample orders or urgent replacements. Custom colors and engraved park logos available on request.
