KSHD has been selected as the exclusive supplier of outdoor waste management solutions for a large-scale waterfront redevelopment project in Barcelona, Spain. The contract calls for the delivery of over 600 commercial-grade metal litter bins, purpose-built to withstand the region's salty marine air and high-volume pedestrian traffic.

The order comprises KSHD's 316-grade stainless steel recycling and refuse bins, chosen specifically for their superior corrosion resistance in coastal environments. Each unit features a brushed finish, tamper-resistant locking mechanisms, and custom-branded decals in Catalan and Spanish.
City officials cited product longevity and low maintenance requirements as decisive factors. The specified bins carry a 20-year service life with no repainting or structural repairs anticipated-a critical consideration for long-term public budgeting.

This project further strengthens KSHD's presence in the Mediterranean market. The company has now supplied street furniture to over 40 municipalities across Spain, Italy, and southern France, with recent expansions into North Africa.
"Our Barcelona partnership reflects growing municipal demand for specification-grade infrastructure that delivers measurable lifecycle savings," said Ivy. "Public buyers are moving beyond initial procurement cost to evaluate total ownership. Our stainless steel range directly answers that shift."
Installation is scheduled to begin next month, with full deployment expected by late summer.
