Bucharest, Romania, July 14, 2025 KSHD announced a strategic agreement with the Romanian Ministry of Environment and Climate Change to supply the first 5,000 sets of KSHD-2025 stainless steel outdoor trash cans for the Romanian "Smart City Cleaning Program" nationwide. With a total value of €1.2 million, the project aims to improve urban public health through innovative designs and environmentally friendly materials, while responding to Romania's 2030 carbon neutrality goal.

Romania has made significant efforts to promote the green transition in recent years, with its National Recovery and Resilience Plan explicitly allocating 37% of EU funds to climate action. This collaboration is one of the landing projects of this plan, and the KSHD-2025 trash can stands out with a number of core advantages:

Material innovation: 304 stainless steel (2205 duplex steel is optional for coastal areas) with a salt spray corrosion resistance of more than 1,000 hours, complying with the EU EN 13452-2 standard.
Intelligent design: Patented perforated structure improves air circulation efficiency by 40% and reduces odor spread by 90%, especially suitable for high-density areas such as subway stations and commercial centers.
Space Optimization: The semi-conical design saves 30% of floor space, adapting to the retrofit needs of narrow streets in cities like Bucharest.
Project Highlights: From hardware upgrade to system integration

Romanian Minister of the Environment Ana Popescu said: "KSHD's solution fits perfectly into our country's 'Clean Romania 2030' strategy, with durability that reduces the frequency of replacements by 50% and is expected to save €300,000 in maintenance costs per year. Ms. Liu, Manager of KSHD, added: "We have optimized the coating process especially for the high humidity environment of the Danube River basin, ensuring 10 years of maintenance-free, which will provide a model for other countries in Eastern Europe. "
